Marina Pez Vela will double its current capacity to receive more vessels, with the construction of 91 floating berths that will welcome in November the high yacht entry season. The increase in tourist demand led to the expansion of additional concrete structures capable of mooring vessels up to 200 feet in length, with a depth at low tide of up to 14 feet. The marina is located in Quepos, the gateway to the country's most visited national park: Manuel Antonio, which received almost 400 thousand visitors last year. It is a privileged area for sport fishing of sailfish, blue marlin, yellowfin and gold, among other species quoted by lovers of this activity that leaves many incomes to its inhabitants.
